OEM Development Case for Building Fixtures: Speed Control Device
Using the centrifugal force of the rotating tire! A wheel with a built-in brake system in the tire, gear, and case.
Heavy fixtures that gain speed accumulate significant kinetic energy and possess destructive power, which can lead to accidents involving the elderly and children. In response, our company has developed a mechanism that uses the centrifugal force generated by rotating tires to apply brakes, solving this problem. When the tires accelerate rapidly due to sudden opening and closing, the brake pads open due to centrifugal force. The opened brake pads are pressed against the case from the inside, which suppresses movement, and this, through gears, applies brakes to the rollers themselves, bringing the fixture to a stop. 【Conditions and Issues】 ■ With an increasing number of residents desiring larger openings, doors and windows are trending towards larger sizes and heavier weights, which could turn sashes and doors into dangerous objects that compromise comfort in daily life. ■ Heavy fixtures that gain speed accumulate significant kinetic energy and possess destructive power, which can lead to accidents involving the elderly and children. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
